Dear God,

I thank You for this day. I thank You for the year 2025. Thank You for the breath in my body, for my health, and for my strength. You are the source of life, and it is in You that I live, move, and have my being (Acts 17:28).

Father, I adore You. I honor You for who You are and for all that You have done—for keeping me, for my family, and for our children thus far. Thank You, Lord, for being an amazing and faithful God (Psalm 103:1–5).

As we reflect on the year 2025, Father, I pray in the name of Jesus that You would forgive us for any disobedience. Forgive us for every place where we have fallen short. Your Word declares that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let Your grace and the blood of Jesus cover us completely, in Jesus’ name.

Father, for many of us, 2025 was a challenge—a fight to survive. Yet as we prepare to enter the next year, we declare that Your grace has been sufficient for us, for Your strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We go into the next year with gratitude, knowing that we made it out. We survived the hard things. We endured sorrow, pain, and loss—and still, we say thank You.

We come into agreement with Your will and Your Word, for You have said that we shall prosper and be in good health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2). So, Father, in the name of Jesus, let 2026—the year in which You are glorified—be the year when the pain we suffered begins to make sense.

Release beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Let sorrow be exchanged for joy (Psalm 30:5). Let every tear that was cried become an answered prayer in this coming year. We pray for abundance and for divine provision, knowing that You supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Most importantly, Father, we enter this next year with strengthened faith, believing not merely to survive, but to thrive. We declare that we are leaving survival mode behind. Prosper us, God. Strengthen us as we trade our will for Yours and our desires for Yours. We yield fully to You.

Our ears are open, our hearts are bowed. Continue to change us—to make us more like You. Transform us by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Let our light shine before others, that they may see our good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16). Let our purpose be fulfilled more and more.

We declare that every ounce of darkness, every unclean spirit that attempts to attach itself to our fruit, is destroyed and dismantled. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God, that we may stand and withstand in the days ahead (Ephesians 6:13).

As we go into this next year, we declare restoration—we will recover all (Joel 2:25). We believe You as we have never believed You before. You are expanding our capacity for more of You—more of Your power, more of Your wisdom—so that more souls may be drawn to Christ.

We honor You. We love You. And we decree and declare that it is already done according to Your will and according to Your Word (Mark 11:24).

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
